The Investigations Division provides investigative support to DA prosecutors preparing cases for trial and law enforcement officers engaged in Officer Involved Critical Incident (OICI) investigations, in-custody death investigations, and cold-case investigations, as well as officers/deputies facing other investigative needs or challenges relating to the central role of the DA’s Office Investigations Division. DA Investigators also provide training to law enforcement and prosecution agencies on interrogation techniques, police use-of-force investigations, and the use of polygraphs in building a case.
