The Criminal Procedures Team performs a number of legal and non-legal duties to ensure the proper function of the District Attorney’s Office. In addition to normal prosecutorial duties, the attorneys on the Criminal Procedures Team handle other less common legal matters such as extradition and fugitive proceedings, felony expungements, and GRAMA (Government Records Access and Management Act) requests. The team’s support staff also manages restitution and asset forfeiture, updates legal records, arranges calendars, and prepares and maintains files for court.
